Abstract
The deterioration of the stones of the fuentiduena apse, dolomitic limestone blocks and limestone sculptures, is mainly due to soluble salts. Two different preservation treatments were applied: 1) based on barium for the limestone sculptures; 2) based on ethyl silicate for the dolomitic stone.
