In this third volume, contributors raise the issues and present the challenges (sections 1 and 2) that confront natural history collections today. Other authors then discuss current directions and initiatives from a global perspective. Following these contributions, the forth section of this book is devoted to future directions for natural history museums. New strategies, working models, and recommendations for change are presented.
