Abstract
A colorimetric analysis determined concentrations of dihydroquercetin at 3 levels in 9 trees. Heartwood content varied within and between trees, ranging up to 1.5 percent in fir and 1.8 percent in larch. Resinous wood had lower concentrations, and sapwood values ranged from 0 to 0.56 percent.
