The trade control office of Berlin recommended substitute materials for carbon-tetrachloride, tri-or perchloroethylene. The substitutes should not be considered since some contain phosphoric acid, hydrochloric acid and nitrate. The are also ineffective and dangerous in technical considerations due to mixing. They also could damage the objects they would be used on, as well as negative impact the environment.
