In the first part of this article the traditional physical and chemical methods of insect pest control were criticized. It continues here with a description of the pests in question and a chemical history of Eulan, the permanent textile protective developed by Farbenfabriken Bayer. Methods of treating textiles with different types of Eulan are presented in detail, followed by exact instructions for treating zoological museum objects, especially mounted or skinned birds and mammals.
