Microscopical studies have been made of a number of variously- prepared, rosin-sized papers. By semi-diagrammatic drawings and descriptions the appearance and distribution of precipitated rosin size in these papers are listed. Tentative deductions are drawn concerning some of the highly disputed questions relating to rosin sizing in paper.
