Deals with the restoration of four Daniells prints drawn and engraved in the early 19th century. These prints were on thick machine-made paper, marked with water stains and foxing; fungus growth had caused stains and made the paper weak. Article describes an attempt to treat the papers with mild chemicals. The discoloration of the paper was treated with sun bleaching; and care was taken to protect the prints from the damaging effect of ultraviolet radiation.
