Abstract
The restoration of the stained glass windows from the nave of Chartres Cathedral has enables the French C.V.M.A. Committee to embark on a study of previous restorations. New observations, briefly presented here, concern the restoration work carried out prior to the 2nd World War which is visible in the thirteen bottom and two top windows in the nave and transept.
