Abstract
Glue and wax-resin lining adhesives are compared. A wax-resin formula is presented. Gum dammar 20 grams; castor oil 30 drops; turpentine 5 cc; Paraffin (Parowax) or Beeswax 5 grams. Dammar is preferred to rosin to produce a lighter tone. Castor oil is used as a plasticizer. The use of this mixture as a facing adhesive in the transfer process is suggested.
