Abstract
During excavation in a South Australian peat quarry, a wooden tool industry dating to about 9000 yrs. B.P. was found. The tools included a wooden spear, digging sticks, a barbed javelin and three complete boomerangs. Chert tools and chipping debris were also discovered. Three C-14 dates are cited for the site. -- AATA
