Abstract
The Australian art conservation mobile laboratory program known as Conservation On The Move has an ongoing history. The organization responsible for the Australian mobile art conservation program was Regional Galleries Association of New South Wales. This organization staffed the mobile laboratory through a Skills Exchange Program which proved to be advantageous. Choice of the laboratory's itineraries depended upon the needs of the collections and available funding. General laboratory specifications provided here in this article will describe how the laboratory operated. Arrangements are being made for the art conservation mobile laboratory to serve the west coast of Australia.
