Two new paint removers and one standard product which is readily available at many hardware stores and home centers were tested, and the results are described. The painted surface was a wooden table with contrasting colors of layers of paint, thereby making it easy to gauge the penetrating power of the various removers. Particular cautions using each compound are cited, and the primary active chemicals are identified for Peel Away, Formby's and RedDevil No Wash 88. -- AATA
