Abstract
The simple structure of the Arch of Gallieno is nevertheless interesting from both a constructional and a structural point of view. The geometrical rigour of the original concept and its realisation may be seen in the reconstructions drawn here. Its present precarious state was studied by means of an appropriate numerical model, and the factual evidence is exemplary in its clarity.
