Abstract
Eight separate descriptions of equipment used at archaeological sites or used in analysis of artifacts include radiography and microscopy of teeth from Late Cypriote Bronze Age tombs, electrical prospecting, use of a metal detector, an electro-magnetic survey, the use of a soil conductivity meter, and use of a subsurface interface radar. A short description of the basic technical principles of the most common electro-magnetic devices discusses the Beat Frequency Oscillator, Induction Balance-Transmit-Receive, Pulsed Induction, and Very Low Frequency Discriminator. See 18-175.
