The scope of this bibliography includes aspects of the conservation of textiles for museum use. Each entry is annotated with the following terms: examination and/or analysis -- determination of what should be done or not done with an object; cleaning, by whatever means necessary; restoration to the object's intended state; preservation (only including instances of the addition of a foreign substance); storage and fumigation; exhibition, including mounting; and environment in the museum necessary to the well being of the object.
