Abstract
The mural paintings were discovered during the course of archaeological excavations. Poly (butyl methacrylate) with a low viscosity (pbma-bu) was used as a consolidant. It was necessary to find another polymer which required a different solvent. The polymer c-8, which has a high molecular weight and is soluble in a mixture of alcohols, was proposed.
