Abstract
This article is about the verification of the date of the creation of a fragment of the fresco in Vladimir on the basis of the comparison of the results of petrographic analysis of plaster layers. Procedures and styles of painting are described as a result of restoration studies made by a team of conservators in the workshop of restoration of Vladimir.
