Abstract
Study of gentle physical techniques and mild chemical conditions to apply potential consolidants to artificially aged cotton textiles. Results do not prove notable advantages over known procedures. Exploratory study showed that cotton cellulose fibrilis or wood pulp can be used to patch highly damaged artifacts. With photos and diagrams. -- ICCROM
