Abstract
A detailed study of 9 miniature painted glass plaques found in the ivory rooms of nimrud. The glasses are each described in detail in a report which is accompanied by the technical examinations of three of the glasses. Robert brill carried out microscopic examinations, chemical analyses and spectographic analyses on glass and pigments.
