Abstract
Thermoplastic pvac glues are unsuitable for structural use. Catalysed pvac adhesives start being widely used but present specifications are not satisfactory. 48 hours immersion in cold water is suggested as best correlation with weathering tests. Boiling water test showed bad correlation. Resistance to sustained load. -- ICCROM
