Roman presence in the Bidassoa seems to be closely related with the development of a mining industry based on silver exploitation at the foot of the Peñas de Aya, a mountain in the Arditurri mining district. Examples of this activity have been found in smaller numbers than had been described during the past century. This study presents the characteristics and the morphology of the preserved galleries. -- AATA
