Abstract
The systematic inventory of bird bone remains gathered in quaternary sites in the French Pyrenees (Pleistocene and Holocene periods) yielded about 170 species. Corvidae are present in greatest number, with Pyrrhocorax graculus vetus K. and Pyrrhocorax pyrrhocorax primigenius M-E. coming first followed by bird of prey, Tetraonidae, Turdidae, and pigeons. Concluding remarks discuss the prehistoric morphology and climate of the area. -- AATA
