Abstract
The object of this article was to add to present knowledge regarding the Roman world in Guipúzcoa, and more concretely at Irún, in the extreme north of the conventus iuridicus caesaraugustanus, on the basis of the study of lamps. The author conducted a morphological analysis of 16 lamps (mostly fragments) some showing potter's marks, found at the Arditurri mines and in excavations carried out on the plaza of the church of Santa Maria del Juncal in the same town. These objects are indicative of Roman presence or at least of elements of daily use assimilable to that culture during the 1st century AD on that territory. -- AATA
