Report concerning a method of repair used at the conservation laboratory, Trinity College Library, Dublin aiming to preserve the original character. The use of methods related to the parchment-making process based on hydration and tensioning is described. The mending methods are also fully described. The show-case and packing case systems to maintain a micro-climate that will conserve the equilibrium moisture content of the vellum.
