Abstract
A gallo-roman site excavated in 1975 yielded among other objects three wooden boats. After 5 years of storage while a thermally isolated epoxidized steel tank was built, the boats were treated for 21 months with peg 4000 at 65 degrees celsius. The boats were stored after treatment in a controlled environment, awaiting reconstruction.
