Abstract
The wooden seat and back of a sledge were covered with a cushion, which was badly damaged, especially by large tears in the textile fabric. Excluding the possibility of a partial repair or a covering with gauze, it was decided to cover all parts or the damaged textile fabric with a new cloth which was sewn to the original parts.
