This leaflet gives suggestions for preservation of poor quality paper through: providing a good environment; microfilming the originals when the paper itself need not be saved; deacidifying and buffering to alkalinity; and encapsulation. If clippings of papers are going to be saved in a scrapbook format they should be mounted with paste on acid-free paper. -- AATA
