Abstract
Peach endocarps excavated at the Furu site, Tenri city, Nara prefecture, central Japan were studied morphologically, and these data were compared with those of peach endocarps in the Yayoi period. The Furu site belongs to the Tumulus period, and peach is now believed to have been imported from China in early Yayoi period. -- AATA
