Abstract
Phostoxin tablets applied over the periphery of black polyvinyl chloride (PVC) coated nylon fabric for the long term coverage of groundnut pyramids were likely to have lower free fatty acid contents and levels of insect infestation, than those subjected to normal tarpaulin coverage for a similar period. This article compares the rate of lipolysis in pyramids constructed from sub and exportable groundnut respectively, under the different types of coverage employed in the trial.
