The extensive use of Ge(Li) gamma-ray detector systems as nondestructive analytical instruments has necessitated the development of computer programs capable of accurate reduction and interpretation of the spectral data. This article will emphasize a recent major change in the treatment of unresolved peak interferences in the final calculation of the disintegration rates of the various components.
