Abstract
Volume 1 lists the most significant publications on preservation, from historical, philosophical, and legal perspectives through urban and suburban redevelopment and research to restoration and community action. Volume 2 which covers the care of museum collections is abstracted in <b>AATA</b> <i>15-176</i>. The third volume lists educational activities of historical organizations. Volume 4 lists sources of information on artifacts, decorative arts, fine arts, and folk arts. Volume 5 provides information on effective management, governing boards, standards and ethics, personnel and employment practices, volunteer and guide personnel, membership development and fund-raising techniques, tax, law, insurance, building planning and maintenance, physical security, printing and publishing, public relations, collections policies, and library and archives administration.
