Abstract
Following the exceptional discovery in 1954 of a royal ship dating from ca. 2500 B.C., on the site of the great pyramid of Giza, the Haq Ahmed Youssef, a restoration specialist, undertook its study and reassembly. Various chemical and natural products were used during the restoration, such as protective coatings and adhesives. The stages of the restoration are described in the article: replugging and dying of pastes, reassembly, consolidation and reparation of the hull. -- AATA
