The object of this Flemish project is to make important steps in order to promote renewable energy in regions of Croatia. These regions have a great deal of potential for renewable energy. When charting the perspectives of manure fermentation in Croatia, the three main business sectors were taken into account, i.e. cattle farmers, pig farmers and poultry farmers. One of the objectives of the project is to examine the production potential of manure from poultry, pigs and cattle as a thermal/electrical energy source. By means of study trips, including informational seminars, visits and school visits, Croatian and Flemish experts will make their knowledge and expertise in renewable energy known to each other and to the public.
