Abstract
The 14th-century lead-lined glass window fragment, excavated in Esztergom, was in a very bad state of preservation. The object was crushed into a single entangled bundle. The cleaning in heated acid solution led not only to the softening of hard corrosion layers but also made possible the careful unfolding of the leading. Lead was used for the completion and reconstruction of some missing parts of the leading and polyester resin for the glass. -- AATA
