Various sensors are important measurements to detect and obtain information from the outside world. Therefore, measurement and control technology has become the core and basis for Sensor Network. In this paper, the concepts and relationships of measurement and control technology and Sensor Network are introduced firstly. Then, based on the importance of measurement and control technology to cultural heritage protection, several key measurement and control technologies are presented. At last, typical application cases and suggestions are given in order to apply Sensor Network in cultural heritage protection.
