Abstract
Dating techniques are described in paleoanthropology and prehistoric archaeological studies on the nature and causes of the evolution of hominid behavior. Several quaternary physical dating methods are presented with carbon-14 dating by accelerator mass spectroscopy and, to a lesser extent, calcium-41 dating being emphasized. -- AATA
