Abstract
The biodeterioration of materials may take place at different acidity levels. The growth-inhibiting concentration of some fungicides is estimated in vitro at various pH values. Considerable differences are observed. The choice of a fungicide must be guided by the local ph of the essential water content of materials, since fungicidal activity in general is pH-dependent. -- ICCROM
