Abstract
Describes the planning of an addition to the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto. The entire museum staff was consulted to determine the needs in all facilities. Meetings between the conservation and curatorial staffs helped determine display and storage requirements as well as office and laboratory requirements. Objects were categorized according to the amount of relative humidity and light they can endure.
