Abstract
A procedure is described for discovering which of those materials being considered for construction of display cases, storage cabinets, frames etc. May produce concentrations of volatile acids harmful to some museums objects. The suitable materials are given: plastic envelope, polyethylene foam, fluorinated polymer, mineral-filled acrylic paint.
