Abstract
The use of the ISO R105 series of blue-wool color-fastness standards as a monitor and convenient reference for exposure to light is described. In addition, the method of rating the degree of fading of the standards is described -- a procedure for visually comparing the degree of contrast between the faded and the unexposed standards with a standard series of geometic grey-scale contrasts. Typical curves of the rate of fading of the blue-wool standards under various conditions of exposure are given.
