Report on the use of two Novus epoxy resins, with uv-induced polymerisation process, as adhesives for glass, illustrated by the restoration of a roman glass beaker. Description of relevant properties of the resins: viscosity, mechanical strength, chemical and physical resistance. Comparison with currently used araldite epoxies. Short appendix on discolouration tests by accelerated ageing in light exposure of three types of epoxies with two types of colours for completion of glass objects.
