There are three groups of insects that destroy textiles: 1) those feeding themselves from textiles, like moths; 2) those digesting the dirt on textiles and causing damage to the fibers, like cockroaches; and 3) those just destroying the fibers by moving through textiles, like termites. All textile damaging insects can be identified by the traces they leave in destroying the fibers. -- AATA
