Some technical details about the restoration of a 18th-century positive organ from Nuremberg. Tests were conducted to find the most suitable soldering technique for restoring the lead pipes. The tongues of the wooden pipes, which had been cut in the 19th century to modify their tone, were reconstructed in their original shape and sound by addition of the missing parts with a moulded mass of nitrocellulose glue with a filler (fully reversible).
