Abstract
A concretion of metals and beads clustered together was found in the city of Ashur in East Anatolia. Over the years the environmental effects to which these buried artifacts were exposed fused them together. The x-ray radiography of the cluster disclosed a major part of a disc with cuneiform script on it. A reading of the cuneiform script from the radiograph has disclosed that the disc belongs to the period of Assyrian King Shalmaneser I (1274-1245 BC). -- AATA
