Abstract
In the Beginning, a Prismacolor pencil drawing on paper by Judy Chicago, measuring five feet by thirty feet, required lining to prevent damage to the fragile and unwieldy support. The author in collaboration with the artist designed a lining which would provide support for handling, a flexible structure for rolled storage and shipment, and a system for exhibiting the artwork.
