Three types of apparatus are described briefly: two are for the exposure of yarns samples to light either in ambient air or in modified atmospheres, and the third is a conditioning stove for ageing tests in the absence of light. Thus far, cellulosic fibers have been tested for light exposure, and wool has been used in the conditioning stove. The experiments are continuing, and the whole program is presented in summary form.
