Abstract
Reports on experiments carried out on fabrics using the cantilever method developed by pierce. The effects on the flexibility of different treatments such as cleaning, glueing, and sewing were investigated. A loop test is suggested for very soft and for the stiffer fabrics. Test results are tabulated.
