Rapid and reliable procedures for the chemical analysis of insect-resist agents, or mothproofers, on wool have been developed. These methods, based on chromatographic analysis, are routinely employed by many laboratories for the quality control of insect-resist agents on wool textile products. Full details of the procedures used to determine the traditional agents, recognized by the International Wool Secretariat, are described. -- AATA
