Abstract
Methodology for analysis of archaeological sites in order to provide on site treatment guidelines for archaeologists is outlined. Relevant data can be organized as follows: ecological zone; micro-environment; and soil conditions. Cooperation between conservators and archaeologists is stressed in this preliminary proposal.
