A basic discussion of color image permanence, based in part on notes taken from a recent lecture by color film authority Peter Krause. Of the slide films, Krause rates Kodachrome highest in stability; of the print materials, dye transfer Cibachrome and Ektaflex are recommended. Briefly mentions other factors affecting permanence, such as environmental conditions, mounts, and how transparencies/prints are used.
